Cairn Terrier Puppy Dog Purple Marble Stone Trivet

“Love Cairns Puppy.” (Purple Watercolor) What could be cuter than a fuzzy little Cairn Terrier puppy? His ears seem almost as big as his head when he's tiny like this. He'll eventually grow into them, but they'll always stand proudly up. His coat is tousled and fuzzy and - did you know? A Cairn Terrier's coat color can change dramatically as it grows and gets older, at least during the first couple of years and, some say, the coat can change several times throughout the dog's life! The picture here is a stylized image of our rescue Cairn, Bailey, when he was about 8 weeks old (we don't know his exact age, only what the Human Society estimated at the time of his adoption). We thought he might end up a brindle color because he was dark and mottled as a puppy. But lo and behold! He's now a beautiful wheaten color with some reddish undertones.
