Calico Cat Kanji Japanese Calligraphy Postcard

This cute postcard has Japanese calligraphy for the word 三毛猫. It means calico cat. 三毛猫 in Japanese is pronounced "mikeneko" (Not like the name Mike, but me kay.) The cat on the postcard is a Japanese Bobtail wearing a traditional Japanese collar. Calicos and Japanese Bobtails are seen as the standard Japanese cat (as seen with the beckoning cat.) The calligraphy was handwritten by me on a tablet. The pawprints in the background add a fun touch. A good gift for someone who likes Japanese culture. About kanji: A kanji is the Japanese word for Chinese character. Chinese characters represent an idea into one character. Typically, one part of the kanji is the meaning of the character, while the other gives it the sound. They are usually combined with other kanji to make complex words.
