Their popularity has seen a resurgence, and new cultivars are rapidly coming to market. The canna is agriculturally important both as fodder for livestock and as a food plant (the starchy rhizome) for people. I love this mug, not only because of the design, but the feel of it in hand is just wonderful. Its kinda silky, really a neat feel, not like every other mug I have. Its a little on the small size and I wish they had one bigger, but its a small detraction from an otherwise very cool mug. Printing turned out very clear and even the subtle colors of yellow and light gray were able to be seen.
