Why I made this: After my rectal cancer treatment, I had a disability placard I legitimately needed. But every time I parked in a disability spot and walked away from my car, people gave me dirty looks. They saw someone who looked "fine" and decided I didn't belong there. They had no idea what my body was going through. I created this magnet for everyone who's felt that same judgment: the cancer survivors, the chronic pain warriors, the people managing conditions no one can see. Your struggle is real, even when it's invisible. This magnet says it for you, so you don't have to explain yourself to strangers in a parking lot. Not All Disabilities Are Visible For everyone living with an invisible illness or hidden disability, this magnet says what you shouldn't have to explain. Chronic pain, autoimmune disease, GI cancer, brain injury, mental health conditions, digestive disorders, and so many others can't be seen, but they're real. The design features four icons representing physical, neurological, mental health, and digestive conditions, with a clear, bold message that's easy to read from a distance.
