The original pattern on this Bone China Mug was created from an original photograph by HomeWare of a cardboard palm, growing at the base of a tree. The fronds have flat leaves, looking like they are made of green cardboard. Although many people refer to cardboard plant as "cardboard palm," it isn't a true palm. Instead, it's what is botanically known as a cycad. It has been around since the time of the dinosaurs, an ancient plant with a lot of character. It is native to Mexico.

I bought this bone china mug to give away to family and friends on my 75th birthday party. It was easy to design with the step-by-step method provided; during the design I could follow what it would look like, change the font and font size and, as a special feature I had the choice of background color. I had expected to receive the mugs in 2-3 weeks - they arrived in 5 days! I am very pleased with the quality of the mug, the ease of design and the speed of shipping. Well done! Love the color, the pictures are very clear and the wrap-around just right.
