The old European walled cities are almost gone now, but there are still a few castle towns and walled cities -- and this antique illustration shows a cat winding its way around the wall of a castle. The vintage cat would keep down rodent populations around the old castles. This cat seems to enjoy his stroll on the castle wall. A great gift for cat lovers!
About the Vintage Cat Image
The antique cat illustration is by famous illustrator Arthur Rackham, who developed the image for a 1909 edition of Grimm’s Fairy Tales. Typical of Arthur Rackham's wonderful illustrative style, he included lots of old world castles and themes throughout his style.

I'm very disappointed with the image quality of the shirt. The Hanes shirt is great but the image is terrible. I purchased this shirt for my son to wear on his birthday. He will still wear it but I'm so disappointed with the way it looks. The image is faded and blurred. I ordering it on the grey just like the picture and the colors are no where close to being as vibrant as they show on the sample.. I also thought the image would cover more of the shirt. I ordered a YL and the image is just a 5 inch by 5 inch image. It is just a small square in the middle of the shirt. like an iron-on. I'm so very disappointed.
