August Robert Ludwig Macke (3 January 1887 – 26 September 1914) was a German Expressionist painter. He was one of the leading members of the German Expressionist group The Blue Rider. He lived during a particularly active time for German art: he saw the development of the main German Expressionist movements as well as the arrival of the successive avant-garde movements which were forming in the rest of Europe. The minute I spotted this item I knew I HAD to order these for my daughter's wedding for the Hotel Goodie Bags since the wedding was held at a vineyard. The quality is great and they were a little bigger than I expected but worked out and will be useful to the recipients to tote their books, papers, lunch etc for future use. The picture shows what we put inside to welcome our hotel guests. I was very satisfied with the printing on the tote and I liked I was able to choose the font and size for the bag.
