This design features an adorable painting of a cat by Chinese artist Xu Beihong (徐悲鴻, 1895–1953); when he studied at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts (National School of Fine Arts) in Paris, he was also known by the name Ju Péon. Xu Beihong is widely regarded as one of the finest Chinese artists of the 20th century. The beautiful kitten shown here has black-and-white fur and cute eyes that look beseechingly into the distance.
