Cattle and Sheep in an Alpine Landscape Kitchen Towel

This design features a painting by Rosa Bonheur (1822–1899), who was a French artist best known as a painter of animals. It shows wild animals in a mountainous Alpine landscape. There are sheep and cattle. The cattle have horns on their head and sheep have coats of wool. All of the animals are standing or sitting on grass close to the edge of cliffs; they are used to surviving in an extreme environment. The peaks of the majestic mountains in the background are tipped with white snow.
