Celebrating the first Astronauts from each Service Branch
Since its beginning, the space program astronauts corps was primarily made up of male military test pilots. In 1967 that began to change with the selection of scientists. The advent of the shuttle program increased those kinds of opportunities, though military pilots still had the task of piloting and commanding shuttle missions.
This design by Tim Gagnon honors the first astronauts fro each military service to fly in space in the order in which they flew. We salute their service.
The modifications to their names are inspired by the iconography of their branch but no copyright protected symbols were used.

My 11 yo wore adult XL (5’7” 165#). The 8yo is small framed. She wore adult small and tied it in the back. Dark haired male wore adult large and 5’9”, 110# female wore adult medium . Good quality dark Heather gray, Gildan brand shirt. -it was next up from basic choice and cost about $20 per shirt. Not too thick or thin. Washed and dried well, no major shrinkage. Not see-through. Can wear a bra under it fine. Screen print is just as shown and well done, front and back.
