About This Design

Celtic Gryphons Design Mug

Celtic Gryphons Design Mug

You say griffin, I say gryphon. Some other fellow is saying "griffon", just to be smart. Whatever you call them and however you choose to spell them, these two pairs of two beasts are facing off in a complex knotwork "gripping beast" design - all so that they can hold your coffee or tea in a secure grip, just for you. It's a good life.

This is a gorgeous mug that makes me feel as though I am outdoors in my Hosta garden, on a beautiful day in Spring! The printing is lovely and sharp just like my painting. I shall be displaying this mug at an exhibition soon!

I love these cups!! I'm glad I ordered them and would definitely order from here again. I got 50 cups and they came within a reasonable time frame.

I designed the mug for my sister because the Gauguin painting holds a special meaning for her. It arrived on time and the overall quality of the mug exceeded my expectations. Vibrant colors, true to the original. I just received, so I can't say how the colors will hold up over time.
