Illuminations are small drawings used to decorate and/or illustrate ancient manuscripts. The earliest examples date back to the 5th century AD. Celtic monks had a rich tradition of illumination using bright colors and incorporating Celtic designs into their work. One of the best examples of Celtic illumination is found in a Gospel manuscript dating to around 800AD.

I got two sheets of circle stickers and they are perfect! The images don't do it justice. They are incredibly bright and sharply printed. Every detail picked up. Perfect! The colors are so bright. It looks even better in person than on my computer screen. I'm very happy with how it came out.
