Certainty Brings Ruin (Eggya Para D' Ata) Mug

You may edit the color of the text The ancient Greek philosophers have played a pivotal role in the shaping of the western philosophical tradition. In ancient Greece, the forecourt of the temple of Apollo at Delphi bore 3 inscriptions, one of which was "Eggya Para D' Ata" meaning that certainty (or assurances) brings ruin along with "Meden Agan" (Μηδὲν ἄγαν), meaning "Nothing in excess", and 'Gnothi Seauton' - 'Know Thyself' which are also in our designs. It is attributed to Chilon of Sparta (fl. 6th century BC), a Spartan and one of the Seven Sages of Greece. That's the quote on the T-shirt in ancient Greek.
