Cervantes Baptismal Font in Alcalá de Henares Magnet

This designs is a collage of two images: an image of Cervantes' Baptismal font, as can be seen nowadays in the Capilla del Oidor (Alcalá de Henares) and the image of the main characters of the Don Quixote novel created by Cervantes. The design intends to support the project "Cervantes Infinito" / "Endless Cervantes" with which Alcalá de Henares-birth place of Cervantes- intends to commemorate Cervantes in the IVth Centenary of his death (1547-1616), in 2016. The Cartoon animation series "DON QUIXOTE OF LA MANCHA" was first seen on TV back in 1979, since then, it has been aired by TV stations around the globe. Don Quixote was first published in 1605 and it's continuation in a second part was published in 1615. Our merchandising also commemorates both the IVth Centenary, which started in year 2005 and will end in 2015, and the 35th. Anniversary of the TV series' first airing.
