Just wow! These cards brought tears to my eyes, they are so beautiful. I love the high quality of the card and that they came pre-folded. Ideas for Top Card Occasions

  • Birthday Cards: Relate a favorite anecdote from your time with the recipient, or create a collage of photos documenting the past year.
  • Thank You Cards: For wedding thank you cards, be sure to include anyone who supported you from afar but couldn’t attend, and give special attention to those who made a long-distance journey to be there.
  • Business Holiday Cards: Hand-sign every card to reaffirm your connection with clients on a personal level. You could also incorporate a mini calendar into your design to give the card a practical purpose into 2027.
  • Graduation Cards: Mention their new school, college, or workplace, and congratulate them on a particular accomplishment, such as their acceptance to that school or a valedictorian address.
  • Christmas Cards: Design a greeting card that doubles as a wedding, birth, or new home announcement card to save time and postage.

Frequently Asked Questions about Cards

Can I get an emailed or printed proof before the order goes to print?

Zazzle doesn’t offer an emailed or printed proof of your order prior to production. However, the preview on the product page will show you exactly what the product will look like before it’s even made. Additionally, with no minimum quantities on Zazzle, it’s possible to order a single card as a sample before committing to a hundred. To reorder the same design again, sign in to your Zazzle account and click on ‘My Orders,’ followed by the appropriate Order ID. Make any modifications and select ‘Add to Cart’ when you’re ready to make a full purchase.

What should I write on my card?

Personalize your greeting as much as possible by relating anecdotes, including photos, or offering a genuine compliment.

Birthdays: For birthday cards, include a message of hope for the year ahead: "Wishing you a very happy birthday and a year filled with love and laughter."

Holidays:For Christmas and holiday cards, remind the recipient how much they mean to you: "My favorite part of the holiday season will always be making wonderful memories with you. Here’s to many more Christmases together!"

Thank You Cards: If you’re thanking someone for a present, acknowledge specifically how you’ve put the item to good use: "Thank you so much for such a generous and thoughtful gift. I’ve been using it to [explain usage]."

What paper stocks are available, and which can I write on?

Paper stocks on Zazzle are separated into three categories: Standard, Signature, and Premium. On our Standard paper types, including 400 GSM Semi-Gloss, ink may take a moment to dry. Signature Matte at 320 GSM is a favorite with customers as it’s a smooth surface that’s easy to write on without smudging. Of our Premium paper types, 352 GSM Premium Linen is the best for writing on, because of its uncoated matte finish. ‘GSM’ stands for ‘grams per square meter,’ and a higher number means thicker paper.

How long does it take to make and ship printed cards?

Non-foil greeting cards take 2 days to produce, and foil cards take up to 4 days. This doesn’t take into account weekends or the day you place your order, and so a card that’s ordered on Friday will enter production on Monday. Shipping times are dependent on whether you choose Standard, Premium, Expedited, Zip, or Zip PLUS. Zip will scale the production timeframe on cards down from 2 days to 1, and Zip PLUS offers next-day delivery by moving your order to the front of the manufacturing queue.

Does the price of a card change according to the quantity?

Yes. Although it might not always be necessary to order multiple cards, ordering in bulk will net you a quantity discount. This starts at 5% on 10 folded greeting cards and at 15% on 25 flat greeting cards. Folded greeting cards are the most popular type, and 50 is the most frequently ordered quantity, so customers typically save 15% on their order. Quantity discounts vary by product type, so by clicking the ‘Qty:’ button on any product page, you can see how much of a discount applies to that particular design. You may also be able to avail of a promotional discount, which, if available, will be automatically applied.

Can Zazzle mail the cards directly to my recipients, or do they ship to me first?

Once your cards are manufactured, they’ll be shipped directly to your own address in one batch, ready for you to personally sign and address. However, using our free Guest Addressing service, you can instantly have your saved addresses printed directly onto the envelopes. This ensures that each recipient’s information is formatted consistently and presented accurately.

What is the return or reprint policy for cards?

If your order is defective or damaged, then we’ll be happy to offer a replacement, credit, or refund within 30 days. Simply provide a description and photo of the issue to our Customer Support team, and action will be taken as soon as you’ve substantiated your claim. If you’ve requested a Worry-Free Design Review and are unhappy with your order for any reason, then we can reprint your cards, issue you Zazzle credit, or restore the funds to your account.

Do people still send physical cards?

Absolutely. People still use physical cards to accompany a gift or to reconnect with people. Furthermore, when you go to the effort of signing, addressing, and mailing your cards by hand, it suggests a lot of time and thought went into the gesture. Physical cards also make better keepsakes, as they can be saved and displayed.

What are some products I can use to decorate my card?

Envelopes: By default, all Zazzle card orders will come with blank white envelopes, though you can exclude these to achieve a small saving of 15 cents per 5 x 7 inch card. Alternatively, choosing matching envelopes can enhance the overall presentation and create a strong first impression.

Return Address Labels: If you’re worried about messy handwriting, printed return address labels allow you to quickly and accurately add your details to each envelope. This also gently encourages the recipient to return the favor and send a card in response.

Stamps: Choose a stamp design that would suit multiple occasions, and you won’t have to stock up on stationery supplies no matter what card or invite you’re sending. Our self-inking stamps allow for up to 10,000 impressions per cartridge, and our wood art stamps are available in 6 sizes and 28 colors.
