This cute little cherub is a detail from the “Sistine Madonna” painted by Raphael in 1512-14. The painting was commissioned in 1512 by Pope Julius II in honor of his late uncle, Pope Sixtus IV. Raphael, 1483 - 1520, was an Italian painter and architect. He was a leading figure of Italian High Renaissance classicism, and was best known for his "Madonna’s," including the Sistine Madonna, and for his large figure compositions in the Palace of the Vatican in Rome.

This is one of the most comfortable throw pillows I have ever had. It is so incredibly soft. Everyone in the family fights over who gets to use it, even the dog. Most of the other pillows end up on the floor when she gets on the couch but not this one. She loves it too! The photos turned out great on this pillow. I'd definitely purchase another one.
