Chief Geronimo Personalized Military Style Watch

Chief Geronimo Personalized Military Style Watch

Designed for military tacticians and Native American fans of Geronimo, a watch personalized with your own name and a historical portrait of Chief Geronimo, Apache, 1898, Fort Sills. Chief Geronimo's original name was Goyathlay. The pastel portrait drawing by E.A. Burbank, 1898, is currently in the Yale University Library collection. Geronimo's birth date is disputed. Some say he was born June 16, 1829, others say in 1823. His original name was Goyahkla. He died of pneumonia after being thrown from his horse and lying cold all night. He died as a prisoner at Fort Sills on February 17, 1909 and was nearly 90. He was a prominent chief of the Bedonkohe Apache who fought against Mexico and the US government with great courage and resistance. His evasive tactics are greatly admired by the military. His last words were reported to be said to his nephew, "I should have never surrendered. I should have fought until I was the last man alive." Geronimo's Winchester rifle is on display at West Point US Military Academy, USMA. He has been honored by studies of him as a military tactician.

I customized this watch to remember the date of a big event in my life, and added some small symbols to remind myself to be grateful. It was a great, malleable design and a high-quality product. Image quality is good although the design I chose was easier to make out on the online preview than on the watch itself.

It feels like a very well made watch. Better than ones I’ve purchased in the past. The design ended up pretty good.
