This design features a painting by the English Victorian artist Frank Dicksee (1853–1928). It shows a battle between two knights in the Middle Ages. The courageous men are dressed in full armor. One of the knights is standing on the chest of the other knight, holding his sword up, to signify his victory over the other man. In the foreground is a female beauty wearing a green dress. She has long red hair and she appears to have been bound to a tree, perhaps by the defeated knight. The victor in the vattle will soon untie her and protect the damsel in distress, following the medieval code of chivalry. There is also a brown horse next to the victorious knight. The original artwork was painted by Frank Dicksee in 1885.

Very impressive product! The canvas is sturdily made. It features a saw tooth hanger on the back, making it easy to "try out" the canvas in several rooms until I found the best location.
