Cinema Impero, Asmara Postcard

During the 1930s, the Eritrean capital of Asmara served as a sandbox for young Italian architects experimenting in modern building forms. The result is a wonderful collection of modernist buildings This is the Cinema Impero (1937) designed by Mario Messina. This postcard uses that retro look to hark back to an earlier time when there were no colour photographs on postcards, just black and white photographs or colour illustrations. Don't forget to have a look at the back of the postcard. It has a retro feel to it aswell. You can buy a single postcard if that's all you need or you can buy as many as you want.
