Found in a 1930 Broadway playbill. Wilkins Coffee is forgotten as far as coffee goes (it was bought some time in the 1960s by one of the bigger coffee companies), but it is well-remembered for the crazy 10-second commercials for Wilkins Coffee, done by Jim Henson back in the 1950s/early ‘60s. I wanted happier curtains in this window so I made a seamless repeat in the things and colors that make me happy and ordered them in this tapestry then made curtain rod pockets. I love how it came out and I can use the fabric to make something else when I’m tired of them. Excellent. The colors are bright and look great the fabric is soft and hangs well.
