The Sasa crest / Sasa is a ritual object used to summon gods. People dance with sasa, and the chant 'sasa, sasa' is known as 'sasagoe' (sasa voice), which is a voice to call the gods. The hat represents a sign or symbol, indicating the presence of a god. In the past, there was a group of people called 'Kasanuibe' who were responsible for making hats, a sacred occupation as they created hats for the gods. Therefore, this group belonged to the Imibe clan and was closely associated with Shinto priests.
