The Cliff, Étretat, Sunset (Étretat, soleil couchant), 1882-1883 - Claude Monet, oil on canvas. Claude Monet (Paris, 1840 - Giverny, 1926) was a French Impressionist painter. Monet spent about three weeks at Étretat in February 1883, repeatedly painting its cliffs despite cold weather and difficult rocky terrain. This sunset view features the dramatic rock formations known as the Elephant and the Needle. He built the hazy atmosphere from quick, individual strokes of bright color, while wet paint layered into the setting sun creates partial color mixtures on the canvas.

From the pictures we needed to replace two tiles that had the old toothbrush and soap dish and the tile guy said two tiles would have to be removed. The tiles were PERFECT! just a slight color difference to the naked eye but they match pretty darn good. Tile guy had to shave the back because the 1957 tile was thinner but as you can see it worked out great! We are elated over the moon happy, Thank you!
