The last and largest clipper ship project undertaken by the firm Frieze and Roy was a shipping, shipbuilding and trading firm located in Maitland, Hants County, Nova Scotia, Canada. Founded in 1836 was Esther Roy, a ship of 1,533 tons, which was launched in 1877. She was later sold to an Italian company in 1895. Clipper ships were mid-19th century merchant sailing vessels designed for speed. They were narrow for their length, small by later 19th-century standards, and could carry limited bulk freight. They had a large total sail area and could travel at speeds of up to 30 kilometers an hour, far faster than the average merchant ship.

The puzzle was ok. The pieces were really small and they don’t include a blueprint to use. Which would be fine if the photo on the front of the box was larger, but it’s also very small and not really useful for details. I don’t think I’d buy another one from Zazzle until they start providing at least some sort of reference photo. .
