I rarely make collages, and when I do, it’s often related to a photograph that is just perfect for my ambitions. These buildings in Beaune, France, are that kind of photo. Considered to be the "Capital of Burgundy wines,” Beaune is famous for the Hospices de Beaune or Hôtel-Dieu de Beaune. Hospices de Beaune is the primary wine auction in France. The collage is made from three variations of the original photo (cut and pasted), plus acrylic paint.

I'm the artist/designer of this Beaune, France, mug, so I'm especially critical of how the product turned out. This is my first printed copy of this mug and the printing is excellent! I have loved and relied on the quality of the mug for several years, and it's still up to my standards. The blue color had me worried-- was the color accurately represented online? Would it complement the blue in my collage art? As a matter of fact, it was and it does! Yes, I would recommend this product to anyone who love my art. It's well made and beautifully printed. Everything was excellent. I'm very pleased with the results. I have to make at least one prototype or sample of the products I create, and when they turn out this well, I can't ask for more.

Perfect size for my morning coffee! 8 oz is definitely not enough to get me going. This 15oz mug is perfect! The handle allows a good grip.... it's the little things ;). Great quality! Black print matches the inside of the mug which adds a nice contrast to the design.
