National flag of Colombia The Colombian national flag is a tricolour flag with horizontal bands in yellow, blue and red. Unusually, the top yellow band takes up half of the space of the flag. It is also called the "Tricolor Nacional". It was adopted in 1861, and has a 9:14 ratio. Note that any distortion in the preview image is caused by compression artifacts, and won't be printed.
