Colorado Postcard
......another cool CO 'dashboard cam' shot ;) i absolutely luv Luv LUV these mountains! - It's amazing how they're so different from the ones here & when you get into UT! - Of course, there was (naturally) a huge impending winter storm (blizzard) coming back thru as I was about to head out on my way from Denver 2 Vegas... & as I stressed my concerns about the hwy travel & icy road & extreme snowfall that was expected along my direct route, my friend jokingly informs me, "Nah, you'll be fine! - You'll see... the Heavens & the clouds will part just for you & stay to the sides- & right over the road will be absolutely clear & you won't have any bad weather or driving conditions!"....... LOL Dunno if you can tell it in the photo, but from caching the 70 in Denver - ALL the loooooong - (& what I thought was gonna be a totally scary) - drive down past Grand Junction, that's actually EXACTLY what happened! :) This was also Sunday following Thanksgiving - the busiest travel day of the year!? - & as you can see, clear open roads, one RV, &... wait... what's that.... a dark, foggy mist of stormy snow clouds hovering over the mountains really far away over there to the left...? ;)
