Colorado Rocky Mountains Moonscape Desk Name Plate

This scenic nature photograph was taken from near the summit of Mount Evans in Colorado, on a warm summer day. At more than 14,000 feet above sea level, small patches of snow can be seen in this panoramic view of the Rocky Mountains. The nearby mountain peak is nearly black or charcoal grey in color and this landscape is reminiscent of a moonscape. Fluffy white clouds can be seen against a deep blue sky.
