Stained glass is made by adding metallic salts during its manufacture process. The colored glass is crafted into stained glass windows by small pieces of glass that are set up to form patterns or pictures, then held together by strips of lead and supported by a stiff frame. Stained glass can last as much as 75-150 years!

It was quick delivery, sooner than expected. This lampshade is exactly as described and the perfect size for my lamp. I replaced the old bell shape lampshade with this barrel shape and it allows me to place my lamp closer to the wall. I love the soft colors of this lamp shade and the modern-southwest design. In the evening, the light is a cream color. I am very happy with this lampshade and highly recommend this product. (Pardon the quality of my photos for this review.)
