The Colosseum or Coliseum also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre is an oval amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy. Built of concrete and sand, it is the largest amphitheatre ever built. The Colosseum is situated just east of the Roman Forum. Construction began under the emperor Vespasian in AD 72, and was completed in AD 80 under his successor and heir Titus.Further modifications were made during the reign of Domitian (81–96). I had a favorite photo that was take during a recent trip to France done for gifting purposes as an 8x10 and the results were outstanding. While the photo looks professional, it has even more meaniing to us, since it's a treasured memory that we ourselves caputred Since this one turned out so great, I immediately ordered additional photo plaques in various sizes to share other memorable moments. Thank you Zazzle for offering this amazing item. While I opted to not indlude printing on this particular plaque, however, I did include printing on the other placques that I ordered and the printing came out as I requested in my plaque design.
