Contemporary Toile Birds & Florals Tapestry

If you've seen toiles you've notices the single-color drawing on a flat color canvas fabric. The original toiles had intricate drawings of nature, particularly animals and pastoral themes. They originated in Ireland and became popular in France in the last half of the 19th century. They continue to be popular today but drawings have become more simple and varied.
