Crow Teepee Wigwam, George Catlin Art Square Wall Clock

This unique wall clock has a copy of a painting by George Catlin. The original picture was called, "Crow Wigwam". George Catlin was an artist whose goal was to record life among Native Americans in their natural habitat. He preserved a bit of American history for us to enjoy and marvel at. This teepee is light buff with drawings of buffalo and indians on horses. The top of the teepee is a brilliant orange red. You can see an Indian peeking out of the door flap. The pretty blue sky has a purple tint with peach colored clouds. There are trees and gentle hill in the background. The dwelling is set up on a grassy plain. The soft colors of the sky, ground and background really make the simple teepee stand out.. This is a copy of vintage work that is in the public domain. it would make a great addition to a collection of Native American Indian themed items, Other artwork by this artist is in my "The Art of George Catlin" collection.
