The tile is squarely set into the lid, and seems very secure as well. I plan to give this to the seller of this property at closing. He worked there all of his life, and his father before him, as well. A one-of-a-kind keepsake box where will be able to store his mementos. He is going to love it. The printing is very good. It's actually a Google street photo, and considering the source, it looks better than I thought it would. The focal point of the photo is nicely centered, and the colors are true.
