cute akita with pink teddy picture black faced dog throw pillow

This is a very pretty Japanese akita girl called Poppy, I painted her portrait in watercolour and then I made an outline drawing from it. Poppy was photographed with her favourite teddy bear for her pet portrait, the image of her with Mr. Ted really brought out her akita sweetness, then I added the text to the picture because Poppy loves her teddy bear and akita people love their akita bears. Poppy was a joy to paint and I'm sure this comfy cushion will make a lovely gift for someone who loves akita's and cute dogs of all shapes and sizes, or perhaps it's a special treat for yourself. The original dog portrait is painted in watercolour and but I’ve digitally enhanced the picture on the back of the pillow to give it a sepia effect. A percentage of my commission from all akita products will be donated Akita rescue.
