Cute Curious Baby Groundhog Woodchuck Classic Round Sticker

A cute baby groundhog, aka marmotte, woodchuck, peeks out from her leafy hideaway in Quebec, Canada. She was nibbling on wild strawberries when I first saw her, and she's now watching me as I raid her berry patch (don't worry, I left lots). These adaptable animals are many around here, often seen in parks, grassy roadsides, fields and wild spaces. They dig burrows with multiple entrances and several chambers, each room with a purpose, such as the nursery, the food stash and the toilet. Groundhogs or woodchucks are mostly vegetarian & eat carrots and other root vegetables, berries, clover, alfalfa and dandelions. Original nature photo M Sylvia Chaume.
