They are made from a durable, clear PET plastic that is lightweight and easy to wear.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends the use of cloth face coverings¹ as face masks to supplement social distancing in the fight against the spread of COVID-19.

Zazzle's customizable Face Shields are NOT surgical masks, personal protective equipment, or N-95 respirators – these critical resources are reserved for the brave healthcare workers who are on the front lines, taking care of our loved ones – but rather are intended for general, everyday use while out in public when social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. We made sure that our Face Shields had all the most-important features to keep you safe and comfortable:

Assembly directions:

• Locate the eye frames & face shield included in the kit.
• Carefully pull open the blue clasp on the left side of the eye frame
• Insert the blue clasp through the rectangular slot on the left side of the face shield
• Align the blue clasp so that it passes through the small round hole, and press it down firmly back again into the frames to securely fit the shield into the eye frame
• Repeat steps 3 & 4 on the right side to complete in installation

Printed areas are opaque: with the exception of a pre-set area around the eyes, White ink will be printed under all images and text, blocking most light from passing through those areas of the face shield. This means that, except for the pre-set area around the eyes where no white ink underbase will be printed, you will not be able to see through art and text printed elsewhere on the face shield

Cleaning instructions: it is recommended that you clean your face shield regularly in order keep it clear of dirt and debris that might reduce visibility. To clean, begin by washing your hands thoroughly so that you don’t transfer dirt or other foreign materials to the shield. Then, apply mild soap and water, glass cleaner, or rubbing alcohol to the inside of the shield. Use a soft cloth or paper towel to gently wipe the face shield until all dirt and foreign materials are removed. Repeat the process for the outside of the face shield. Let your face shield dry before wearing again.
