Damascening is an ancient craft that involves decorating steel objects with gold and silver designs to create creations of great beauty and delicate craftsmanship. This tote bag design is a tribute from the designer to that gorgeous artwork that is still produced in Toledo.
This design is available in Impulse Tote style, Grocery Tote style, and Tiny Tote style.
Also, although the design was thought to have black handles, these can be changed to natural, red, hunter, and navy color.
The tote bag is made 100% cotton, and is machine washable.

The minute I spotted this item I knew I HAD to order these for my daughter's wedding for the Hotel Goodie Bags since the wedding was held at a vineyard. The quality is great and they were a little bigger than I expected but worked out and will be useful to the recipients to tote their books, papers, lunch etc for future use. The picture shows what we put inside to welcome our hotel guests. I was very satisfied with the printing on the tote and I liked I was able to choose the font and size for the bag.
