Dancing People, Kiitsu Tissue Paper
Suzuki Kiitsu (1796-1858) was a pupil of Sakai Hōitsu (1761-1828), the last of the three great masters of the Rimpa school, who revived the style in Edo (Tokyo). Earlier Rimpa painters had depicted plants in a boldly stylized manner, but by the nineteenth century, a greater degree of naturalism had crept into the actual drawing of the flowers. However, the design of the paintings is still quite flat and formalized and the end result is highly decorative.

Custom 10lb Tissue, Size: 10" x 14"
What a gorgeous pattern! Struggled a bit on match for multiple sheets required to cover the drop leaf table, but happy with result! Paper stayed true to color, the 18 lb weight is easy to work with, Art as Furniture - love it.

Love this paper I’ve been looking for something like this for a while now and it’s perfect I love the colors. I love this print I put two of the same papers together because my project was a bit bigger than the papers I ordered, but it turned out absolutely beautiful. I love it.
