This awesome tapestry features a pair of chilis, a red chili and a green chili. They both have black eyes and pink mouths. Each Chili is wearing a sombrero hat that has a skull of the opposite color to the chili on it in celebration of the Mexican Day of the Dead festival, Dia De Los Muertos. The sombrero also contains three flowers with alternating red and green petals representing the flag of Mexico.

I wanted happier curtains in this window so I made a seamless repeat in the things and colors that make me happy and ordered them in this tapestry then made curtain rod pockets. I love how it came out and I can use the fabric to make something else when I’m tired of them. Excellent. The colors are bright and look great the fabric is soft and hangs well.
