Deadvlei, located in Namibia’s Namib-Naukluft National Park, is a surreal and hauntingly beautiful landscape that looks like a painting come to life. The pan itself is a cracked white expanse, punctuated by the skeletal remains of ancient camel thorn trees that died over 600 years ago.
