The 2024 presidential year election will be a referendum on democracy in the United States. Do we want to continue the democratic form of government established by the Founders in the Declaration of Independence and Constitution, with its amendments, or would we rather revert to minority rule, oligarchy, or the dictatorship of a charismatic leader? We still have the choice. We need to use our vote this year to elect candidates that believe in the rule of law and the principle of one person, one vote. Democracy itself is on the ballot and who we choose to govern us will determine how we are governed going forth. Vote for democracy in 2024 in local, state and national elections.
