DeMorgan Ruby Lustre Bird Flamingo 1880s Repro Ceramic Tile

De Morgan (1839-1917) was an important Arts & Crafts movement artist and was the head of tile production at William Morris's studio. This design is one of a set of ruby luster tiles Charles Dodson (better known as Lewis Carrol, the creator of Alice in Wonderland) used on one of two fireplace surrounds in his home. You can do the same, or use for backsplash or wall tiles in kitchen, bath, or laundry. Can also be used to display as art or made into desk accessories and other items. Available in 4.5 and 6" sizes.
