A desert island or uninhabited island is an island that has yet to be (or is not currently) populated by humans. Uninhabited islands are often used in movies or stories about shipwrecked people, and are also used as stereotypes for the idea of "paradise". Some uninhabited islands are protected as nature reserves and some are privately owned. Devon Island in Canada is claimed to be the largest uninhabited island in the world. Small coral atolls or islands usually have no source of fresh water, but at times a fresh water lens (Ghyben-Herzberg lens) can be reached with a well.

I had a favorite photo that was take during a recent trip to France done for gifting purposes as an 8x10 and the results were outstanding. While the photo looks professional, it has even more meaniing to us, since it's a treasured memory that we ourselves caputred Since this one turned out so great, I immediately ordered additional photo plaques in various sizes to share other memorable moments. Thank you Zazzle for offering this amazing item. While I opted to not indlude printing on this particular plaque, however, I did include printing on the other placques that I ordered and the printing came out as I requested in my plaque design.
