Dhanvantari - The Physician of the Gods Faux Canvas Print

Dhanvantari is the physician of the gods and the god of Ayurveda - an ancient Hindu system of medicine. When Devas and Asuras churn Ksheer Sagar (ocean of milk), Dhanvantari emerges out of the ocean holding a pot of Amrit - the elixir of life. The day on which he was born is celebrated as Dhanteras - which is two days before the festival of light Diwali.
