Plain white envelopes are included with paper invitations and will come to fit the invitation size you select. If you don’t need the envelopes, you may choose to not receive them by selecting the dropdown below "Envelopes" and choosing "None." If you’d like to have a design on your envelopes, you can browse all of these available envelopes to find the design that complements your Dirty Thirty Invitations.
Ideally, you want to send out invitations 2-3 months before most events, such as birthdays. However, this isn’t always possible. If you can’t give that much notice, send them out as soon as all of the plans are confirmed. This will allow your guests as much time as possible to receive the invite and plan to accept the invitation.
However, the bigger and more important your event is, the more advanced notice you’ll want to give your guests. For example, wedding invitations can be sent even six months in advance.
While you can customize any existing design by going to a product page and selecting "Personalize" then "Edit using Design Tool," you can also create your own design completely from scratch through the following:
- Step 1: Navigate to our "Personalized Custom Invitations & Announcement" page
- Step 2: Find the product you want to add a design to and click on it to get to a page that features that product
- Step 3: Select "Customize This Design"
- Step 4: You’ll then enter our design tool, which you can use to add text, images, and more to completely customize your design
Yes, you can print on the back of your invitation for free! Most designs already have a corresponding design on the back that can be personalized using the Design Tool and going to Layers. This is a great way to communicate more information or further personalize your Dirty Thirty Invitations. The option is really up to you.
Yes, Zazzle invitations are completely recyclable. We pride ourselves on being environmentally friendly and some of our paper options are already made with recycled materials.

You’ll see a pop-up that will list the different paper types we have along with information for each such as an image, description, thickness, and weight to help you decide on one. While these are all great options, the Signature Matte is our most popular paper option.

However, if none of these designs match your needs you can customize any existing design or make your own from scratch so that you can set the stage for a memorable celebration.

You can also choose to print your digital invitation on your printer, at a local print shop, from Zazzle, or all 3 if you want.
This is a great option if you’d like to send your invitations digitally to some and print them for others. Or simply having access to a digital version for ease of use while planning an event. Purchasing both digital and printed invitations gives you the most flexibility.
