Our Designs tell a Story. This Cancer Bites was designed to show support for our K-9 members of the Family. Lime Green Grungy Ribbon over a Faded Paw Print and the Statement “Cancer Bites” with the purpose of supporting K-9 Hodgkins Lymphoma Awareness. Lymphoma is the most common cancer in dogs and closely resembles Non-Hodgkins lymphoma in people. Although lymphoma is often initially responsive to chemotherapy, long term survival in dogs is rare. The cause of lymphoma in dogs is not known. DuchessNDuke found a new purpose due to the tragic loss of our Beloved Puppy “Lucky”. She was only 1 1/2 years of age and Lost Her Fight to Hodgkins Lymphoma after only 9 weeks after initial diagnosis. While this cancer often affects older pets, when young dogs get diagnosed, the cancer is often more aggressive. Help us create Awareness and Hope for dogs like Lucky. We Hope for a Cure One Day. There is no Cure at this time and less than 1% Survival Chance in Dogs with this Cancer. Portions of the proceeds are being donated to Organizations focuses on Finding Cures for Pets.
