Badger was a very special border collie dog, he was a rescue dog and he lived to be 16 years old. This faithful and loyal boy spent almost every moment with his “mum.” He was a working dog and she was a gardener, they made the perfect pair, but sadly he passed away a few years ago. I painted this portrait of Badger before he passed on, he always carried his little blue teddy around with him so the teddy was very fitting to his portrait. I think Badger the collie dog looks great on this greeting card because he’s offering his favourite toy to let his mum know he loves her. The card can be sent as a Mothers day card or a Birthday card to mum, but as it's a blank card it's a suitable sending for anyone and any occassion.
