This little snow scene watercolor painting is titled “Fun In The Snow,” It’s a painting of two very special dogs that I had at the time, Tod is a mixed breed German shepherd/Labrador retriever and my sweet Eddie who was a German shepherd/collie cross, they were the best of friends, Tod was severely epileptic and his pal Eddie was his protector, Eddie would know when Tod was about to fit and he would come and find me, he’d spin around a bit and get me to follow him to where Tod was. I painted this snow landscape from a photo that was taken on a lovely winters day, the trees were covered in snow and they were glistening in the winters sun. The forest land is called Pole hill which is on the edge east London England, the dogs had a great day out playing in the snow together.
