The Douglases were one of Scotland's most powerful families and this is the accepted Douglas Clan/Family tartan. It was first published in 1819 and was designed by Wilsons of Bannockburn. The travertine was exactly what I had wanted for the "old world" effect and adding my favorite photos made them simply perfect!
