The cats on this DOWNSTAIRS TABBIES cloth placemat are my original colored pencil drawings of eight cats - the Butler, Valet, Footman, Chauffeur, Housekeeper, Lady's Maid, Cook and Kitchen Maid - who all work "below stairs" for a posh Edwardian estate. They all work together to keep things running smoothly. The art is on both sides. * These Downstairs Tabbies, all together, and individually, coordinate with each other on a variety of products. ** If you'd like to transfer this design to another product type, shape, or size, please check my shop first to see if I have one already done, because I'll have fiddled with it to make the design fit just right and it will save you the bother. I love the pattern, but it is much browner in person than the photo. Also after washing the back fabric shrinks more than the front fabric so the placemat is uneven. The printing is great except for the color which is much browner.
