Drunk Bay at Salt Pond, St.John,Virgin Islands Magnet

There is a bay called "Drunk Bay", on St.John. In old Dutch Creole it means "Drowned" as many mariners lost their lives on the reefs here. People from around the globe visit this bay and create sculptures on this beach with natural and found materials. I have photographed this bay over 9 years seeing it transform with expressions from passers by. This sculpture was one of my favorite. I used to tell travelers there is a surprise that awaits them. Perhaps you will go and make your own surprise one day for someone else to find.
